Patterns contain tactical best practice advice and product examples that provide a strong design system point-of-view on the right way to implement a pattern solution in your product. Pattern documentation typically spans multiple products and technologies, so you can be confident that by following the documented advice you'll be building the Workday design approved solution direction. Patterns are not a 1:1 design + code solution, so teams may need to make tweaks to patterns when applying best practice to fit specific use-cases.
