Workday Canvas

Canvas UX Content Style Guide

If you’re a designer, developer, writer, product manager, researcher, or anyone else who works on Workday’s user experience, this guide is for you — because content is UX, and that doesn’t just mean button labels and error messages. It also includes crafting user narratives, prioritizing information using headers and page layout, and yes, using clear and purposeful language to communicate with our users.

In this guide, you’ll find information about how we approach content here at Workday, and how you can use that approach to help you make decisions about content in Workday. This guide is organized into 3 main sections: Content Design and UX, UI Text, and Grammar and Style.
